SNUFF BOTTLES

I found these delightful bottles in an antique shop. They are painted inside and the detail is amazing. For some reason though, someone has decided to glue the tops on to the bottle......shame. Still, does not detract from their quality.

BAKELITE NECKLACE

I found this piece no so long ago, I thought it was Butterscotch Amber, but it turned out to be Bakelite...so happy !

My lifelong passion

My love affair with costume jewelry and collecting  probably began when I was a young child playing with my mother's jewelry.  I remember a particular piece which was Harlequin opals and lots of diamontes  I loved it. I was like a little magpie,  anything that glittered I  was drawn . Things have not changed and I still continue to be attracted to items that shine and sparkle ! 

I have now expanded my passion to encompass Art and Oriental Antiques, each new find bringing so much excitement.
